1A Medizintechnik, a family-run wholesaler for emergency medicine founded in 1999, needed a modern ecommerce platform to replace an outdated Gambio shop that could no longer handle its complex B2B processes, ~15,000 products in 350 categories, and new B2C demand driven by the COVID‑19 pandemic. They chose Shopware’s Enterprise Edition of Shopware 6 (including the B2B Suite and Sales Channels) to provide stronger content‑and‑commerce capabilities, B2B features and multi‑channel control.

Shopware implemented Shopware 6 Enterprise with the B2B Suite, Sales Channels, ERP integration to CVS AlphaPlan, managed hosting with ElasticSearch and marketing/analytics tools, completing the project in 12 months. The result for 1A Medizintechnik was faster order processing via digital order entry, improved visibility and conversion, support for 24/7 B2B and B2C sales (including coronavirus tests and PPE), 200+ orders per day and an average basket around €150—demonstrating measurable operational and sales impact from Shopware’s solution.
