Bomb Pop partnered with Shopkick to reach shoppers in a 4th of July shopping mindset and boost sales of its festive frozen treats. Facing the challenge of building brand awareness, inspiring add-to-list behavior at home, and driving in-store purchase conversion without margin-busting coupons, Bomb Pop used Shopkick products including Branded Lookbook and Promo Units, Dynamic Kicks and Big Scans, Purchase Validation, and Own The Trip to engage shoppers across the full trip.

Executed by agency Blue Chip, Shopkick delivered branded in‑app content to build intent at home, greeted shoppers in‑aisle with messages, and used kick rewards to incentivize scanning and purchase at checkout. Over the two‑month campaign Shopkick drove more than 23 million impressions and meaningful incremental sales: a post‑scan survey found 44% of shoppers first became aware of Bomb Pop via Shopkick and 68% of purchasers had not planned to buy Bomb Pop before their visit.
