SaturdayClub accelerates global growth with expansion stores

SaturdayClub, a Singapore-based fashion retailer, wanted to expand its online business into more international markets, but its previous ecommerce setup on Adobe Commerce and PrestaShop made each launch slow, costly, and resource-intensive. Deploying and maintaining separate country sites often took a month or more and could cost over SG$10,000, while traffic spikes during peak periods also created scaling concerns.

To solve this, SaturdayClub implemented Shopify Plus with its expansion stores, site duplication, Checkout Extensibility, and API integrations, working with agency partner Verz Design. Shopify Plus enabled the brand to launch four international stores in under five months and enter new markets in as little as one to two weeks, while improving uptime, payment flexibility, and backend integration. The result was 9 new markets launched in six months, 5% month-on-month global customer growth, and 38% year-over-year revenue growth in Malaysia during Lunar New Year 2024.
