Nathan James, a home furnishing brand, turned to Shopify Plus as it expanded from retail-only sales into direct-to-consumer ecommerce. The company needed better ad attribution and more reliable audience targeting after finding that social and search performance data was inaccurate, and its existing lookalike audience strategy was driving lower-intent traffic, higher acquisition costs, and weaker ROAS.
Using Shopify Audiences through Shopify Plus, Nathan James created more relevant Facebook Lookalike Audiences and improved its paid media efficiency. The results were strong: more than 500 new customers, a 2.1x improvement in purchase rate, a 176% increase in conversion ratio, a 55% boost in marketing efficiency, 5.6x ROAS, over $100K in incremental revenue, and a 52% decrease in customer acquisition costs.
