Jungalow’s brand, once reliant on other retailers to sell, now stands on its own

Jungalow, founded by Justina Blakeney, grew from a blog and licensed product line into a direct-to-consumer home-goods brand but was still heavily reliant on retail partners. Facing unclear site messaging, a clunky navigation and checkout, and a need to turn one-time buyers into repeat customers, Jungalow upgraded its storefront to Shopify Plus to gain better control of its brand and ecommerce operations.

Using Shopify Plus, Jungalow redesigned its site for faster browsing, added features like hover-to-view product images and click-to-add-to-cart, and launched the JungaLoco loyalty program to incentivize reviews and repeat purchases. The move to Shopify Plus drove measurable gains: sales rose 61% year-over-year, conversion rate improved 12%, returning customers increased 26.5%, and online sales share grew from about 30% to nearly 60%.
