Ruggable, the home and garden brand known for its machine-washable rugs and other products, was expanding internationally and found that managing six separate Shopify stores was creating unnecessary complexity, risk of errors, and heavy manual work. To support growth in markets like Canada and other regions, the company needed a more efficient way to localize catalogs, currencies, translations, and checkout experiences without adding more operational overhead.

Ruggable implemented Shopify Plus solutions including Markets, Multi-Entity management with Shopify Payments, and Shopify’s Translate & Adapt app to centralize international commerce operations in one admin. With Shopify, Ruggable saved over 330 hours of upfront work, up to 115 hours per week of ongoing maintenance, nearly 5,980 hours per year, and more than $55,000 in annual third-party operational costs, while avoiding the need to launch a new store for Canada and ultimately saving over a quarter million dollars in annual overhead.
