Fable, a home and garden brand, launched online in 2019 and quickly sold out as demand grew. The challenge was keeping enough cash on hand to restock inventory and meet supplier requirements, which created a major capital constraint. Fable worked with Shopify Plus, using Shopify Capital to help fund inventory purchases and support growth.

With Shopify Capital, Fable was able to buy more inventory upfront, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve negotiations with factories in Portugal and Japan. Shopify Plus helped Fable achieve 3x year-over-year sales growth and a 2x increase in stock year-over-year, and the brand plans to use the funding again to prepare for peak season.
