SHL worked with a leading India-based global IT consulting and business process services company that wanted to modernize and scale entry-level hiring across hundreds of campuses in India. The customer needed a faster, more secure, and more diverse graduate recruitment process that could assess very large volumes of candidates without losing rigor, while identifying the best talent in coding, cognitive ability, and written English.
SHL implemented a cloud-based graduate hiring solution with skills assessments, English language testing, coding simulations, and AI-driven auto-proctoring. The program supported about 110,000 candidates over three days, with capacity for up to 25,000 concurrent assessments and 50,000-70,000 tests per day, while expanding campus reach from 50 to 500 schools and reducing the interview pool to roughly 10,000 candidates. SHL also helped improve candidate experience, lower bias, reduce manual effort and travel costs, and increase overall hiring efficiency and productivity.
