Navitasys Partners with SHL to Identify and Develop Their Next Generation of Leaders

Navitasys, India’s leading lithium-ion battery manufacturer, was growing rapidly in a new industry and needed a better way to identify and develop future leaders. With limited access to experienced hires and long ramp-up times, the company turned to SHL and its High Potential Identification (HIPO) solution to assess early-career talent and build a stronger leadership pipeline.

SHL helped Navitasys implement a data-driven Young Leaders Program and later an Emerging and Senior Leaders Program, using scientifically validated assessments, dashboards, personalized feedback, and development plans linked to the company’s learning portal. The results included reduced bias in promotion decisions, stronger employee engagement, 100% retention of program participants, and three young leaders promoted within a year, helping Navitasys reduce reliance on external hiring.
