Kärcher standardized HR processes globally to ensure high-quality hiring and development outcomes

Kärcher, the global leader in cleaning technology with 11,000 employees across 60 countries, needed a better way to make fair, objective talent decisions as it continued its global growth. To support hiring and employee development worldwide, the company turned to SHL and its talent assessments, including the OPQ personality assessment, to standardize HR processes across regions and languages.

SHL implemented a globally applicable talent management solution with online assessments, custom personality reports aligned to Kärcher’s competency model, and trained HR managers to interpret results consistently. As a result, Kärcher now uses SHL talent assessments in 20 languages across 48 countries, achieving more standardized and defensible selection processes, more accurate talent decisions, and stronger support for international hiring and development.
