A SHL Case Study
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (fscs) faced a challenge in developing its leadership talent pipeline to meet an ambitious new vision. They needed to move from subjective decisions to a more objective and rigorous process for identifying high-potential employees. Partnering with SHL, they sought to use data to build a stronger, more diverse succession plan.
SHL implemented its High-Potential Solution, which used objective assessments to identify future leaders based on ability, aspiration, and engagement. This approach provided a clear framework for development. The results were significant, with 47% of identified individuals promoted to senior leadership. Furthermore, the objective process helped increase female representation on the Executive Team to 57%, exceeding their diversity goal.
