The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute needed a fair, scalable way to evaluate more than 1,500 applicants to its Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program while maintaining rigor and diversity. To speed and objectify selection, they engaged SHL to deliver AI‑powered talent assessments and video interviewing solutions (including language and written‑English assessments, cognitive testing, and automated video interviews).

SHL implemented a two‑hurdle automated process—screening with cognitive, written (WriteX) and spoken‑English assessments plus AutoView video interviews—allowing the team to halve the shortlist in seven days and cut total selection time from 40 to 10 days (a 75% improvement).
