SHL deployed AMCAT assessments (English, Logical Ability and AMPI) to evaluate candidates in Delhi and Mumbai and to identify traits linked to sales target achievement.
SHL’s benchmarking of 52 candidates showed strong correlations between target achievement and scores in English, Logical Ability and the personality traits Extraversion and Agreeableness; MBAs also averaged nearly twice the target achievement of graduates. By applying suitable AMCAT cutoffs, SHL demonstrated that the proportion of high performers can be almost doubled—a 96% increase—providing a measurable way to boost frontline sales effectiveness.
