Marea, the Michelin-starred flagship of Altamarea Group, was facing pandemic-era challenges like shifting indoor dining restrictions and staffing shortages while trying to manage growing delivery and takeout demand. To keep service strong on-premise and off-premise, the restaurant turned to SevenRooms and its Guest Experience and Retention platform, including direct reservations and online ordering tools.
SevenRooms helped Marea streamline bookings and orders, own its guest data, and automate marketing to drive repeat business. The results were significant: Marea saved more than $76K in third-party fees and generated about $400K in additional revenue in 2021, including roughly $340K from reservations and $60K from online ordering, with 47K guests reached across 12 campaigns and $7.43 earned per email sent.
