Case Study: DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung achieves centralized, compliant air traffic control processes with Serviceware Processes

A Serviceware Case Study

Preview of the DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung Case Study

With Serviceware Processes DFS is well prepared for regulatory requirements

DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung, Germany’s air traffic control provider, needed a way to meet strict national and international regulatory requirements while also standardizing IT service management across its internal teams. Before working with Serviceware, DFS used separate systems, portals, and databases across control centers and towers, making information hard to access centrally and consistently.

With Serviceware Processes, DFS implemented a consolidated, secure platform called nDL (new Daily Log) to capture all incidents in one centralized database and automatically generate and transmit required reports to the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation. Serviceware also enabled DFS to extend the solution with additional operational workflows, such as rapidly forwarding laser-pointer incident details to police within minutes, improving compliance, communication, and response speed.
