A Serviceware Case Study
Telefónica Germany needed a flexible reporting and analytics setup to support two very different business areas: the Digital & Data Competence Center and controlling. With Serviceware Performance AL, they wanted self-service analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and reliable access to large volumes of operational and financial data without heavy dependence on IT.
Serviceware implemented Serviceware Performance AL across both areas, connecting it to Microsoft BI for OLAP reporting in the DDC and Oracle Essbase in controlling, with OneCube as the central data hub. The solution enabled users to build and save custom views, automate report distribution, and drill down to SAP transaction details. The result was faster reporting and analysis, strong user adoption, more than 100 recurring subscriptions, and over 500 users accessing CubeBrowser in 2020, all supported by highly rated Serviceware assistance.
