Finvis Business Services creates transparency for costs and services for company-wide finance & accounting shared services

FINVIS Business Services GmbH, a full subsidiary of AGRAVIS Corp., provides finance and accounting shared services for about 110 companies, but it was struggling with slow, error-prone settlement and planning processes built around complex Excel files. Serviceware Financial was chosen to help FINVIS improve transparency, standardize its service portfolio, and better manage cost allocation, pricing, and planning across its 34 service products.

With Serviceware Financial, FINVIS automated service controlling, usage-based settlements, cost and volume planning, and reporting, while integrating accounting records into SAP. Serviceware says the solution enabled FINVIS to settle about 90 percent of shared-service costs on a usage basis, improved transparency across cost and value streams, and saved three to four weeks in each planning round.
