ServiceRocket partnered with Cisco Systems to address a cost-driven challenge: Cisco planned to replace its annual Director’s Summit—previously flown in-person for 500 executives—with a virtual event to save travel expenses. Cisco needed a collaborative system that combined event registration, free-form communication and session participation across global time zones, all integrated into their enterprise Wiki environment.
ServiceRocket built the Virtual Meeting Scheduler inside Atlassian Confluence, providing session signups for 19 meetings, local time zone and .ics Outlook support, enhanced profiles, interactive forums and messaging, administrative controls and reporting. The tool successfully supported the Summit, is positioned for reuse across Cisco’s Enterprise 2.0 rollouts, and earned strong praise from Cisco’s strategy team for meeting and exceeding expectations.
