The carrier leveraged its ServiceNow CMDB and added ServiceNow Cloud Management to automate provisioning from the service catalog, using standardized "T‑shirt" offerings to eliminate custom "snowflake" builds. The change cut VM delivery to under an hour, delivered more than $5 million in annual OPEX savings, and freed teams to pursue higher‑value automation such as full application‑stack provisioning.
