A ServiceNow Case Study

Preview of the NXP Case Study

NXP Streamlines Product Innovation and Development

NXP, originally founded as Philips Semiconductors, is a global leader in semiconductors for connected vehicles, security, and smart connected solutions, employing 44,000 people across more than 35 countries. Rapid growth and multiple acquisitions left NXP with a sprawling IT landscape—thousands of components, applications, data centers, and local support teams—which made R&D IT processes inconsistent, error-prone, and slow, creating a pressing need to standardize and orchestrate IT globally to support fast product development.

NXP implemented ServiceNow’s Now Platform, deploying IT Service Management and IT Operations Management (including discovery, asset, and configuration management) to create a single, integrated service-delivery platform. The result was end-to-end orchestration and automation of R&D IT processes using big data and machine learning, delivering traceability and faster incident resolution, reduced downtime, shorter time-to-market, and lower global IT operating costs.
