A Service Works Global Case Study
Service Works Global (SWG) is a global provider of facilities management and BIM software and services, specialising in 3D laser scanning, 3D modelling and CAFM integration. Its clients—from municipal property owners and ports to museums and student housing providers—faced fragmented or missing documentation, outdated drawings, difficult-to-measure historic fabric, and the need to support renovations, operations and leasing without disrupting occupants.
SWG used high-speed 3D laser scanning (Leica RTC360), point‑cloud processing, BIM modelling, digitisation of legacy drawings and web/QR visualisations (QFM BIM) at appropriate levels of detail to create searchable, measurable digital twins. The result: accurate, accessible 3D models and drawings that speed up FM and renovation decisions, reduce on-site disruption, enable remote tenant viewings (rentals completed without physical viewings), support historic preservation and deliver cost- and time-savings across the building lifecycle.
