SNC‑Lavalin (as part of McGill Healthcare Infrastructure Group) was tasked with operating and maintaining the new McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Glen site — a 250,000 m², state‑of‑the‑art hospital complex built under a 34‑year P3 contract. The scale and complexity (500 private rooms, multiple emergency departments, extensive specialist services and strict SLAs/KPIs) created a major facilities management challenge, including the need for seamless handover from construction to operations, multilingual user access, and a payment mechanism tied to monthly performance reporting.
Service Works Group’s QFM and P3rform were implemented to provide one reliable, bilingual platform for helpdesk, reactive and preventive maintenance, subcontractor management, time sheets and the contract payment mechanism. Deployed during commissioning, the system gives ~1,500 users mobile and web access, improves transparency, streamlines work orders and invoicing, supports proactive asset management, and enables integrated monthly performance reporting — boosting service quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
