Neath Port Talbot Hospital is a 277‑bed, state‑of‑the‑art facility serving a broad range of acute, outpatient and mental health services. Delivered under a 30‑year PFI arrangement, the Trust tasked Kier Managed Services with managing the hospital’s hard and soft facilities while meeting stringent service level agreements and providing efficient, auditable monitoring and reporting.
Kier implemented QFM facilities‑management software from Service Works Group—covering a staffed helpdesk, planned maintenance, SLA/KPI tracking, asset and stock control, health & safety compliance and comprehensive reporting. The system enabled real‑time performance monitoring and proactive service delivery, helping the hospital become one of the most effectively managed of its kind in the UK and earn a prestigious Charter Mark for quality care.
