Mitie’s PFI division manages 32 healthcare centres and schools across the UK under complex public–private partnership (PPP) contracts. Faced with hundreds to thousands of contract‑specific KPIs and varied opening hours per site and room, Mitie found its legacy CAFM couldn’t reliably schedule, calculate or report to the required standards.
Mitie implemented Service Works Global’s QFM to model contract nuances (site/room hours, SLAs, term calendars), automate payment/deduction calculations and centralise help‑desk work, generating c.10,500 planned and 9,500 reactive jobs per month. The result was faster, auditable paymech calculations, improved asset performance, easier self‑service reporting and better space utilisation (including room bookings for six schools), giving clarity and consistency across all 32 PPP contracts.
