Case Study: G4S achieves transparent performance management and accurate integrated payments with Service Works Global's QFM

A Service Works Global Case Study

Preview of the G4S Case Study

Managing high standards and prisoner wellbeing through an integrated payment mechanism

G4S Correctional Services operates Port Phillip Prison, Victoria’s largest maximum‑security facility, managing security, catering, health, maintenance and education for up to 1,137 inmates under a long‑term public‑private partnership. The extended contract included complex, performance‑based monthly and quarterly payment and abatement calculations tied to both building KPIs and prisoner service delivery outcomes, creating a need for accurate, auditable, and timely performance management across a mix of in‑house and outsourced teams.

G4S implemented Service Works Global’s QFM CAFM with an integrated payment mechanism, customised dashboards, helpdesk and mobile app to map contractual terms precisely, automate calculations and streamline reporting. The solution improved communication with contractors, shortened rectification times, delivered fast, transparent and auditable performance data and helped maintain consistently high standards across the prison while simplifying reporting to the State.
