Link4Life is a municipal trust delivering arts, heritage, sports and leisure services across 12 sites in Rochdale for 206,000 residents. Heavy footfall, varied events and high wear-and-tear made proactive and reactive maintenance vital, but the organisation relied on a single Excel spreadsheet and one person to track jobs and assets—creating delays, duplicated work and health-and-safety risks that required a robust multi-site FM solution.
Link4Life implemented QFM maintenance software with Service Works Group, rolling it out to 100+ centre managers with role-based access, training and process redesign. The system enabled self-service fault logging, scheduled and repeat jobs, and a full audit trail; the result was eliminated duplicate tasks, improved H&S controls, measurable time and cost savings, and successful expansion from three to all 12 sites with strong staff adoption.
