Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison (EGRP) is a new 350‑bed, state‑of‑the‑art facility in Kalgoorlie‑Boulder designed with cultural sensitivity and rehabilitative focus. Developed under a 25‑year PPP, the project created a demanding facilities‑management challenge: maintain a secure, functional environment in a remote location while meeting strict contractual performance standards and ensuring timely specialist support.

Honeywell deployed Service Works Global’s QFM as a customised total asset management solution, with dashboards, traffic‑light job grading, mobile/iPad access (including offline functionality), asset tagging and an extension‑of‑time workflow to manage remote engineers. The result was faster, more transparent FM — “weeks” of work now often take minutes — with 10,000+ reactive and planned jobs closed in the first year, reduced risk of contract deductions, improved safety and security, and a shift toward proactive, lower‑cost asset management.
