A Service Works Global Case Study
Cope Foundation is a non-profit in Cork that supports over 2,300 children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism across dozens of sites. As the estate and volume of reactive maintenance grew—managed entirely through Excel, Outlook and manual processes—Cope struggled with slow, error-prone job logging, heavy administrative overhead, limited transparency for staff and users, and the need to meet strict regulatory and service demands for vulnerable people.
Cope implemented QFM from Service Works Global, giving care staff self-service job logging, online tracking, contractor remote access and mobile job alerts, supported by SWG training. Within a year the central team regained capacity, monthly reporting fell from a day-and-a-half to about an hour, contractors were better optimised, and Cope achieved greater compliance, transparency and operational efficiency—enabling more proactive maintenance and rapid response for inspections.
