Case Study: Lejonfastigheter achieves accurate 3D BIM model for sports centre redevelopment with Service Works Global

A Service Works Global Case Study

Preview of the Lejonfastigheter Case Study

Digitisation and BIM modelling of a sports centre in Sweden

Lejonfastigheter, the municipal property manager for Linköping, engaged Service Works Global to prepare accurate building information for redevelopment of the city’s 7,800 m² sports centre. The client lacked up-to-date, reliable drawings—parts of the building had been rebuilt several times—and needed a single, correct basis for renovation planning; the project was delivered in 11 weeks.

SWG performed 3D laser scanning, processed the point cloud, digitised existing drawings and produced a LoD 200 BIM model available in QFM BIM. The result is a geometrically correct, navigable 3D model with drawings, facades, sections and colour‑coded area layouts, plus accurate measurements—accessible to staff 24/7 and ready to support ongoing renovation and facility management.
