A Service Works Global Case Study
Curtin University, a top‑ranked, innovation‑focused institution with 55,000 students and an expanding Perth campus, needed an integrated, mobile‑enabled facilities and asset management system to support rapid growth and sustainability goals. The existing CAFM was heavily customised and could not handle high volumes (around 25,000 reactive jobs/year), so the properties team sought an off‑the‑shelf, scalable solution to improve communication, data accuracy and safety workflows.
Service Works Global’s QFM was deployed with a dedicated mobile app, automated work allocation, prioritisation/escalation, offline capability, and extensive reporting (250+ reports and an Excel connector), backed by workshops and 24/7 support. The centralised CAFM delivered faster response times, better visibility and resource utilisation, paper‑free safety checklists, reduced rework, extended asset life and measurable operational efficiencies—directly supporting Curtin’s Greater Curtin strategy and future plans for self‑service portals and predictive maintenance.
