A Future-Proof CAFM Solution for a Modern Healthcare Facility

Brookfield Europe led the £335m PFI to deliver the new Peterborough Hospital for three NHS Trusts and, while interim services ran from the Cavell and City Care centres, needed a future-proof CAFM to centralise reactive and planned maintenance, service-desk operations and PFI concession management across multiple sites.

After shortlisting five suppliers, Brookfield selected QFM from Service Works and began a phased rollout in October 2008. QFM centralised the helpdesk, automated job assignment, planned preventative maintenance and PFI payment calculations, and its Event Director provided real‑time performance monitoring—resulting in consolidated information, faster automated reporting, reduced risk of service failures and a benchmark solution for future PFI projects.
