Case Study: New South Wales Parliament House achieves streamlined maintenance and greater transparency with Service Works Global's QFM

A Service Works Global Case Study

A bespoke CAFM solution to increase transparency and accountability in public spending

Service Works Global (Addnode Group) partnered with the Department of Parliamentary Services at New South Wales Parliament to modernise facilities management across a complex mix of heritage and contemporary buildings. The challenge was to replace a paper- and phone-based process, manage varied routine schedules with a small in‑house maintenance and cleaning team, and increase transparency and accountability for public spending.

They deployed a bespoke QFM solution (branded FAMs) integrated with the HR/intranet and mobile PDAs to centralise job logging, automate dispatch and maintenance alerts, and provide robust scheduling and reporting. The outcome was faster, more efficient service delivery, improved billing accuracy and audit-ready reporting, greater transparency for end users, and clearer insight into future FM resourcing and long-term asset planning.
