Avaya, a global technology company with more than 15,000 employees and over two million square feet of space worldwide, needed a better way to manage its fragmented real estate data, allocations, and chargeback processes after multiple acquisitions. The company wanted a centralized system with stronger data integrity, real-time decision support, and scenario planning to identify excess space and reduce real estate costs, and turned to Serraview for help.
Serraview implemented Serraview Pro, Relocation Management, and Serraview Locator, standardizing floor plans, validating occupancy data, and automating reporting and chargeback workflows. The results were significant: Avaya closed 15 sites and eliminated 527,000 RSF, reducing nearly 25% of its portfolio, while executive reports that once took weeks now take minutes. Serraview also helped Avaya go live in less than 90 days and improved employee wayfinding and workplace experience through the mobile Locator app.
