Sensus implemented its FlexNet system, a utility-grade communications network that uses licensed spectrum for reliable, secure data transmission. The pilot in Leeuwarden achieved a 100% meter read success rate, even from difficult locations, enhancing employee safety by eliminating manual reads. This provided Vitens with accurate, real-time data to improve operational efficiency, reduce truck rollouts, and work towards its CO2 emission reduction goals.
