Redfin, a U.S.-based real estate company, wanted to help house hunters get fast answers about for-sale homes and improve the in-app experience for its growing user base. To meet this challenge, Redfin worked with Sendbird and used Sendbird AI Agent to build a custom AI virtual assistant for its iOS app.
Sendbird helped Redfin rapidly launch in-app chat and the Ask Redfin assistant with scalable chat infrastructure, UI kits, APIs, moderation tools, and strong enterprise support. The result was a faster development cycle and stronger engagement: 93% of Ask Redfin users returned to the app within a week, using it nearly daily, and the assistant increased introductions to real estate agents within days.
