Rastreator.com significantly increases engagement with its customers thanks to customer journeys and micro-segmentation

Rastreator.com, Spain’s leading insurance comparison site, faced two challenges: increasing customer engagement and repeat use among one-time visitors, and standing out from competitors by promoting its broader range of services—most notably a new pet insurance comparison. The company needed a way to drive recurrence and build stronger, more personalized relationships with users.

Using Selligent’s marketing automation, Rastreator ran a multi-channel campaign tied to The Secret Life of Pets that combined TV, a campaign landing page, in-cinema activations, surveys, automated transactional emails, customer journeys and micro-segmentation (tagging users as “interested in pets”). The approach included targeted communications and an “Adopt a dog / free first-year insurance” promotion. Results: a 10% database increase, 30% more pet-insurance comparisons, a 10% rise in total comparisons, 3,000+ unique visits to the film landing page, an 8/10 promotion score, and strong intent metrics (75% would visit more often; 85% would recommend).
