Mercedes‑Benz, working with agency DM Interface in the Netherlands, launched the new A‑Class aimed at engaging Generation Y and needed a fresh marketing approach to drive footfall to shows and test drives. The challenge was to maintain interest over months and hit ambitious targets: a 60% email open rate and 50% enrollment for test drives with 500 confirmations.
By using Selligent to run targeted, cross‑channel campaigns and coordinating closely between Mercedes‑Benz, DM Interface and Selligent, the campaign exceeded expectations: 570 test drives were reserved, emails achieved a 67% open rate, 27% of subscriptions came via social media and events saw a 67% show rate.
