Kruidvat, a retail chain with a strong history of driving shop traffic through traditional advertising and leaflets, partnered with agency Oxyma to innovate customer engagement. In 2011 they launched the "Jouw Extra Voordeelkaart" loyalty card and faced the challenge of creating a seamless cross-channel experience that connected offline touchpoints (POS materials, in-store registration, the physical card) with online channels (website, web forms, email, mobile app) so promotions activated digitally would be available and redeemable in-store.

They implemented an integrated multi-channel system with daily website segmentation and personalized email to match customers to the best promotions, plus mobile and web activation that pushes discounts directly to the loyalty card. The digital extension now drives more than 6 million visits every three months and 2.8 million activations, delivering a high conversion rate and substantial growth in cardholders and business performance.
