FUNKE-Mediagroup - Customer Case Study

FUNKE-Mediagroup, Germany’s third-largest newspaper and magazine publisher with over 500 publications across five countries, set out to create a central online subscription platform to better manage customer contacts, optimize processes, deliver personalized approaches, and support multi‑channel communication. To meet these goals it partnered with Selligent and agency DRID to build the FUNKE Aboshop as the single point for trials, full subscriptions and premium offers.

Within months the Aboshop was launched, automating lifecycle messaging and recovery programs while providing clearer checkout visibility so critical drop‑off points could be identified and addressed. The centralized platform improved customer lifecycle communication and transparency and helped drive increased online sales.
