Bookit.nl is the leading Dutch provider of short vacations and weekend getaways, operating about a dozen niche travel sites and prioritizing customer service and loyalty. Their challenge was scaling highly personalized, timely communications—manual confirmation emails, surveys and reviews—across multiple brands and customer segments while capturing feedback, recognizing repeat travelers, and coordinating newsletters, loyalty and care programs.

Working with Selligent, Bookit implemented marketing automation: real‑time welcome streams with destination‑specific content, triggered survey invitations and a scoring algorithm for reviews, an awards‑points program tied to bookings and surveys, and custom reporting dashboards. The automation preserved a personal feel while delivering faster, targeted interactions, consolidated loyalty data and actionable customer segments, and enabled ongoing improvements such as behavior‑driven recommendations, mobile features and social campaigns.
