Illumina, a San Diego–based life sciences company, needed to give sellers fast access to targeted, compliant content across complex genetic-testing products and multiple markets. Sales teams struggled to find up‑to‑date messaging and materials, having to search dozens of repositories—so Illumina turned to Seismic for content automation and management.

Seismic implemented an integrated single source of truth (ICE), connecting SAP PLM, Box and Salesforce and using Seismic LiveDocs to centralize content. The result: sales activities tripled to about 16,000 ICE actions per week, marketing content use rose 6x, more than 8,000 files from a dozen repositories were consolidated, and sellers saved an estimated 6,650+ hours annually. Seismic’s solution delivered faster, on‑brand, and compliant content for every customer interaction.
