Good Eggs is a San Francisco–based online grocery delivering same-day local produce, meal kits, staples, and wine while partnering with local farmers and paying living wages. To scale personalization and streamline warehouse operations, the team needed a data-driven way to build customer personas and unify data from multiple operational tools without taxing engineering resources on custom pipelines.
Good Eggs moved analytics into Snowflake and adopted Segment to route front-end and backend events (including Zendesk) directly into the warehouse for modeling in Mode. This eliminated bespoke pipelines, cut costs, freed engineering to build features, and enabled faster, data-driven personalization and more agile operations—resulting in improved shopper experiences and operational efficiency.
