Bonobos increased customer purchases by optimizing Facebook ads with Segment

Bonobos, an ecommerce-driven men’s apparel company based in New York with 48 Guideshop locations, wanted to drive more in-store appointments and sales by promoting local Guideshops with Facebook carousel ads. The team needed a reliable way to attribute offline purchases to those online ads so they could measure and optimize campaign performance.

By sending point-of-sale and behavioral data through Segment into Facebook’s Offline Conversions, Bonobos could identify which purchases happened in-store versus online and optimize its “Book Now” ads accordingly. The campaign produced a 3X increase in offline purchases and a 2X increase in offline purchase ROAS versus the control group, plus a 3X lift in website purchases and a 2X increase in website purchase ROAS.
