WRBR-FM, a radio station in Mishawaka, IN, wanted a creative way to celebrate its 21st birthday while helping advertiser Hoosier Harley Davidson engage its target audience and collect data, email addresses, and foot traffic. Working with Second Street Lab, the station used a custom motorcycle giveaway that combined multiple ballots and a sweepstakes to attract motorcycle enthusiasts and identify promising sales prospects.
Second Street Lab implemented a month-long Birthday Bike Giveaway built around three interactive ballots, targeted email promotion, onsite and on-air entry options, and lead-generation questions about motorcycle ownership and purchase intent. The campaign generated $1,500 in sponsorship revenue for WRBR-FM, added more than 1,000 email addresses to the station’s database, gave the advertiser over 850 new contacts, and uncovered 330+ hot leads.
