WPSD-TV Leveraged A Quiz To Provide Advertiser With Sales Leads

WPSD-TV, a DMA 81 television station in Paducah, Kentucky, wanted to help local advertiser Higdon Furniture build an email database, showcase its products, and drive store traffic. WPSD-TV partnered with Second Street Lab to create a promotional idea that combined a personality quiz with a sweepstakes, giving the furniture store a fun way to engage customers and collect qualified leads.

Second Street Lab built the “What’s Your Home Decor Personality?” quiz using product photos and four furniture-style outcomes, then added a $500 gift card giveaway and lead-qualifying survey. The campaign was taken 1,800 times, 74% of users opted in for the advertiser, and the promotion generated hot sales leads for Higdon Furniture while contributing nearly 10% of WPSD-TV’s monthly $10,000 promotions goal.
