WPSD-TV, a television station in Paducah, Kentucky, worked with Second Street Lab to help an audiology advertiser grow its Facebook audience and build an email database for an upcoming event. The challenge was reaching a small, older niche audience with a promotion that would generate qualified leads, not just contest entries.
Second Street Lab created the month-long “Hear Clearly” sweepstakes using a made-for-iPhone hearing aid prize and a targeted entry form with survey questions and email/Facebook opt-ins. Promoted across WPSD on-air, web, Facebook, and email, the campaign generated 359 entries, 164 qualified leads, 8 consultations, and $5,000 in revenue, with a 60% email opt-in rate and 15% requesting a phone call.
