A Second Street Lab Case Study
St. Louis Post-Dispatch worked with Second Street Lab to refresh a relationship with Mizzou Athletics and create a new advertising opportunity that would boost fan engagement, ticket interest, and revenue. The challenge was to stand out with a unique campaign that could also build email leads and drive more interaction for the paper.
Second Street Lab implemented a fully integrated “Mizzou FANtastic Fan Photo Contest” using social media, website ads, email blasts, and a special Sunday print section. The campaign generated 146 photo entries, more than 1,300 votes, and $18,000 in sponsorship revenue for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, while also increasing brand exposure and reader engagement.
