Sinclair Broadcast Group’s WHAM-TV wanted to help advertiser Tandoi Asphalt & Sealcoating generate leads from homeowners considering driveway repair, so it launched a photo-contest engagement campaign with Second Street Lab. The challenge was to create excitement, collect qualified prospects, and turn a first-time sponsorship into measurable business for the advertiser.
Second Street Lab implemented “The Great Pave Off” with photo submissions, daily voting, lead-gen survey questions, email opt-ins, and strong on-air, social, and email promotion. The campaign generated over 2,000 votes, 550 registrations, 148 email opt-ins, and 66 free estimate requests, resulting in $250,000 in booked business for Tandoi and a successful sponsorship that was renewed for the following year.
