Mexican Villa, a Springfield, Missouri restaurant with a long local history, wanted to celebrate the remodel and re-grand opening of its original location while building awareness for the refreshed brand. Second Street Lab helped create an interactive trivia quiz centered on the restaurant’s heritage, using fun questions and a $100 gift card incentive to drive participation and gather insights for future marketing.
Second Street Lab promoted the quiz through banner ads, the KY3-TV Facebook page, and social channels, and also added survey questions to capture customer data. The campaign delivered strong results: 1,739 entrants, a 70% opt-in rate, and $1,500 in digital revenue. The feedback and survey responses gave Mexican Villa useful market research and led to follow-up advertising and plans for more engagement campaigns.
