KPWJ-FM, a radio station in College Station, TX, was working with Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center, but their on-air campaign was underperforming and the sponsor was close to pulling its advertising. KPWJ-FM turned to Second Street Lab and used a quiz bundle to reach parents of students who might need math tutoring, while also trying to grow the sponsor’s email list and generate qualified leads.

Second Street Lab helped KPWJ-FM launch grade-school math quizzes, a tutoring prize incentive, and survey questions asking whether users wanted to be contacted by Mathnasium, plus an email opt-in for offers and discounts. The promotion delivered 25 people requesting contact from the tutor, added more than 160 email opt-ins for the sponsor, and generated $3,000 in revenue for the station; the success also led Mathnasium to increase its spot buy and add a digital package.
